Forget about The Hills, Speidi is SO last week. After watching this week's episode of The City, it's all about the never-ending battle between Erin and Olivia at Elle magazine. Any conscious viewer can practically FEEL the heat emitting from Erin as day after day passes, event after event unfolds with the same consequence: Olivia's inept ability to perform the true duties of her position. "Is Guess popular in California?" As a native Californian and die hard Golden State girl, I was wildly offended by her stupidity and ignorance considering the Guess PR Editor was standing inches away, just as sickened with Olivia as I.
Forget slacking, this girl completely disregards direction from any superior, even the head honcho Joe, who usually fights for her cause. This week, Joe attempts to chastise an amused Olivia, while Erin's smirks and eye-rolls go into overdrive. Besides our name share, I undoubtedly admire Erin's class, self control and attitude. The average girl would go crazy being around such a witch (Olivia). It's obvious the only thing Olivia IS good at is keeping relationships with the people at the top, solidifying her status among the fashion world. She sucks up so good we should all take notes. It's more than her apathetic stance, her sugary sweet sarcasm, or her stinging no-so-camouflaged comments about those she disliked. It's even more than her passive aggressive response to ANY confrontation.

It's Election Day! How was your voting experience?
It was Fan frickin Tastic I tell you. I woke up today feeling shockingly invigorated and hopeful. Whether BARACK OBAMA! wins or not history has been made. And I was here to witness it. He has inspired and revived so many lost souls, broken spirits, and misguided youth. So many of "my people" are voting for the first time. For that alone I think greatness of him.
But there's so much more. Not because he is simply my same shade, but because of everything that he stands for and does NOT stand for. Of course, even if I was not a Barack Obama super fan, the ridiculousness we call the Republican ticket makes it quite easy to become a bandwagon fan. They are simply a joke. And WE are the truth. OBAMA for life!!! BARACK THE VOTE!
